Romel D'Munda has 15-plus years of experience following the money in financial-crimes compliance. He has built his career making sure large institutions handle other people's money honestly, and he wants to put that same auditor's eye to work for Scotch Plains taxpayers.
At home, Romel is a dedicated husband and father, a U.S. Navy veteran, and a longtime youth-sports volunteer and coach in Scotch Plains-Fanwood. He is an active member of the SPF chapter of UNICO, the Italian-American service organization, and is running for Township Council alongside Brian Johdos and Deanna Dell Bene on the Republican slate, endorsed by the Union County Republican Organization.
